The reason of Awakens

阿公，请问为什么人在专注的做一件事可以觉悟呢？例如佛陀的弟子周梨盘陀，明国的王凤仪和一些高僧。是不是在一个“不想／空”的状态下就产生智慧继而悟道呢？为什么“空”的状态持续后会一下子明白这么多东西？我对“顿悟”这两个字很明白但不了解，这之间是聚合了什么“因子”呢？
